Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ODE Connect ("the Service"), operated by Llewellyn Systems Inc ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ODE Connect is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration platform that connects third-party services to AI assistants.

2. Description of Service

ODE Connect provides:

• MCP Link Generation: A unique URL that connects your authorized services to any MCP-compatible AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others).
• Service Connectors: OAuth-based integrations with third-party services including GitHub, Google Calendar, Spotify, and others.
• Security Tools: Built-in privacy scanning, phishing detection, PII detection, and code secret scanning powered by SHANGO and open-source Hugging Face models.
• Third-Party MCP Servers: Compatibility with external MCP servers (Brave Search, Notion, Slack, and others) alongside ODE Connect connectors.

3. Account Registration

To use ODE Connect, you must create an account via Google or GitHub SSO. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and MCP links.
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. OAuth Token Handling

When you connect third-party services through ODE Connect:

• Encryption: All OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.
• No Password Storage: We never store your passwords for any connected service. All authentication is handled through OAuth 2.0 flows.
• Token Scope: We request only the minimum permissions required to provide the MCP tools you enable.
• Revocation: You may disconnect any service and revoke OAuth tokens at any time from your dashboard. Revoked tokens are deleted immediately.
• Pass-Through Only: Data is passed between your connected service and your AI assistant in real time. We do not store, log, or train on the content of these interactions.

5. Third-Party Service Connections

ODE Connect integrates with third-party services. By connecting a service, you acknowledge:

• Your use of third-party services is subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies.
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.
• Third-party services may modify or discontinue their APIs, which may affect ODE Connect functionality.
• You are responsible for compliance with the terms of service of each connected service.
• Third-party MCP servers listed as available are not operated by Llewellyn Systems Inc and are subject to their own terms.

6. Subscription Plans and Pricing

ODE Connect offers the following subscription tiers:

Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice. Changes will not affect the current billing cycle of active subscribers.

7. Billing and Payment

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase or plan upgrade. No refunds are issued after the 7-day window.
• Downgrading from a paid plan to Explorer will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Usage limits will adjust accordingly.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use ODE Connect for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any service, account, or system connected through ODE Connect.
• Share your MCP link with unauthorized parties. Your MCP link grants access to your connected services.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.
• Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage quotas through automated means.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written authorization.

9. MCP Link Security

Your MCP link is a bearer token that grants access to your connected services through AI assistants. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your MCP link confidential and not sharing it publicly.
• Revoking and regenerating your MCP link immediately if you suspect it has been compromised.
• Understanding that anyone with your MCP link can access your connected services through an MCP-compatible client.

10. Intellectual Property

ODE Connect, including its design, code, SHANGO security tools, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Llewellyn Systems Inc. You retain ownership of your data and content accessed through connected services. We claim no ownership over data that passes through the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS FROM SECURITY TOOLS (PRIVACY SCANNER, PHISHING DETECTOR, PII SCANNER) AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE MEANS OF SECURITY PROTECTION.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LLEWELLYN SYSTEMS INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Llewellyn Systems Inc, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your dashboard settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your OAuth tokens will be revoked and your MCP links will be deactivated.
• We will delete your account data within 30 days of termination, except as required by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Alameda County, California.
